My name is Angela Reynolds. It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as JLE’s Reading Specialist! This year is my 14th year in education; 11 years as a classroom teacher (Grades K-3) and I'm starting my third year as a Reading Specialist. I  am a certified K-12 Reading Specialist. I received my B.A. degree in Elementary Education at Appalachian State University in 2008, and my Master’s degree in Education (with a concentration in Literacy) at High Point University in 2013. 

Besides teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. I have two children, a dog (Magnolia Mae), and a baby hedgehog (Hazel)!

I look forward to helping our students at JLE develop the skills they need to be a confident reader who enjoys reading!
