⛳️🔬 Science in ACTION at Topgolf! 🔬⛳️ Who says science can't be FUN?! Our students took their learning beyond the classroom for a hands-on experience exploring Forces and Motion! 🎯 As part of our NC Science Standard PS.5.2.1, students investigated how forces such as gravity and friction affect the motion of objects. Using the Topgolf simulators, they tracked the distance and direction of their golf balls, analyzed their results, and saw science come to life right before their eyes! From putting science into action to learning through trial and error, our students experienced firsthand how science connects to the real world. We love giving our students opportunities to explore, think critically, and make lasting memories along the way! ❤️🔬⛳️ Learning is always better when you can experience it! 🎉

Yesterday our kindergarten students had some special visitors and learned about fire safety!

First grade has been learning about force and motion in science this week. Today, they did an experiment with magnets to see if they could make their ghost “fly” without touching it. 👻

We had a very special reader visit our school this morning! Dr. Gainey came to read to our 3rd grade students! They enjoyed hearing his story!

We had some extra help with our car rider line this morning! Some Wheatmore football players came to greet our students this morning and invite them to the game tonight!
