5th grade Baking Fraction Cookie Brownies to end our unit!
Students had to solve multiplying fractions word problems to determine the amount of their ingredient needed! We had a cookie layer, Oreo, and brownie layer! They enjoyed measuring, cooking, and eating of course!

Some of our 2nd grade students got to visit the Archdale Senior Center as part of our Communities in Schools pen pal program! They played games, had snack, and did word searches with their senior pen pals!
